One of the most ancient native varieties of the western part of Sicily, Perricone offers rich, fresh red berry fruit sensations on the nose, as well as being pleasantly persistent. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 22-25°C, then the wine is refined in stainless steel tanks for a period of no less than 6 months. Before being sold on the market, the wine is left to rest in the bottle for another month.

The grapes are harvested in the second half of September.

This wine, which is intense ruby red in colour, has a delicious aroma of small red fruits, Marasca cherry and plum, with slight nuances of liquorice. It is embracing, elegant and persistent on the palate with a smooth and well-balanced tannic structure. It is ideal paired with vegetable soups, first courses, risottos and broad beans. Serving temperature: 16-18°C.
