From Greek origin Katria means “pure”. We dedicated this name to our grapes Grillo, selected and hand early harvested during the first half of August, to guarantee a certain acidity and freshness. Fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature of 12°C, then pass into autoclaves (stainless steel) for about 2 months at a controlled temperature of 16°C for the sparkling process with Charmat Method. After bottling Katria stays for about one month before being marketed.

The perlage is fine and persistent and the colour is straw yellow. Hints of fruits on the nose, characterized by typical varietal notes of Sicily. In the mouth is dry, fresh and with good persistence and structure. Ideal for appetizers, but also lunch and dinners based on fish.
